About Dutch Royal Horses

Dutch Royal Horses offers hunters, jumpers, eventers, equitation and dressage horses recently imported from the Netherlands. Our horses are without exception of Royal bloodlines of the highest quality.

Dutch Royal Horses aims to provide American Equestrians with the opportunity to own a genuine imported Dutch Sport Horse of exceptional quality for an affordable price to ensure their success in the Equestrian world

Business Philosophy:
Honesty, transparancy and professionality are the pillars of Dutch Royal Horses. We believe direct, open and honest communication leads to happiness for both horses and humans. We find friendliness important in both our own behavior and our horses and always seek the highest possible quality horses in terms of character, talent, obedience, exterior, gaits, scope and durability.

We believe that prior to any purchase of a Dutch Sport Horse, a rider should be able to assess a horse in a calm, relaxed, American environment on American soil. For this reason, we import our horses from the Netherlands, ensure they acclimatize and receive required vaccinations and allow them to settle. Then American Equestrians, looking to own their next Dutch Sport Horse, are invited to come try our newly imported star. We feel these steps, in this particular order, are a necessity to ensure a 100% match between rider and horse. 

About the founder:
Dutch Royal Horses was founded by Monique
Ravesloot. Monique was born and raised in
The Netherlands and grew up riding a variety of
European hunters, jumpers and dressage horses.
Prior to starting a career as a Business Consultant, she succesfully showed at dressage and jumping competitions in the Netherlands and built an extensive network of horse owners, both amateurs and professionals.         

In 2009 she moved to the United States. Her own jumper came along and became the first horse imported by Dutch Royal Horses. Like his owner, he loved the States and won the Champion ribbon at his first American Hunter Show just one month after their arrival in the United States. 

Upon discovering the American Equestrian World and their avid love for Dutch Warmblood Sport Horses, Monique decided to use her knowledge, languages and network to bridge the gap between American and Dutch equestrians and founded Dutch Royal Horses.
